Our activities are essentially of two types, with frequent overlap:

IT and BPO services

We provide European clients with IT- and IT-enabled services carried out by India-based services suppliers with whom we enjoy long-term relationships. Our involvement is initially in presales, followed later by the management of the client relationship through the delivery process. Apex has been active in projects involving electronic publishing, CAD conversion, abstracting and indexing, technical and scientific translations, y2k, ERP implementation, network integration and professional services, to name a few, for a wide range of clients including international organizations, government agencies, manufacturers of chemicals and pharmaceuticals, state railways and publishing companies.

Strategic consulting

We offer business consultancy services, in particular for assisting European clients in developing strategies for sourcing products and services from India-based vendors, and for assisting India-based suppliers in adopting entry strategies for the European market. Apex has been involved in the setting-up of captive BPO units in India, in encouraging Indian-based vendors to establish European headquarters in Switzerland and in advising India-based suppliers on European sales strategies.

We also assist venture capital and private equity firms in performing due diligence of their acquisition or investment targets. This involves evaluating the latter's strategic positioning and management capabilities, benchmarking their operational performance, interviewing customers and suppliers, and validating business models and projections.

Current interests include advising Indian Tier-2 companies on their European business strategy and accelerating the thrust of Indian exports into Continental Europe.
